Basketball Gates

Our club manager reached out to Envera about the reported vandalism at the gates.

Envara responded that this was an install issue.

The Envera tech reported that the reason the gate came off the hinge is because it now swings out.  Once it passes a 90 degree angle the rocker hinge at the bottom of the gate comes off which in turn is causing the gate to remain open.  It is being corrected with the correct mechanism as well as putting a spring on the inside of the gate to insure that it closes properly allowing for the magnetic lock to keep the gates closed.  It appears someone tampered with the light timer; the timer has been reset.  Confirmed with Envera IT department that the camera monitoring is to begin at 10 pm.

However:

The video surveillance does show evidence of vandalism of other areas of the basketball courts that is being turned over to HCSO. Police reports have been filed on these items and are currently under investigation. As more information is discovered, more information will be provided that is allowed to be provided to the public.

Now we just need to get our youngsters to clean up after themselves
