Admiral Pointe & Main Pool Updates
Admiral Pointe Pool Update:
The Admiral Pointe pool is now open!
The pool heaters/conditioners have been installed and we are currently waiting for an electrical permit from the county to complete the pool heat/conditioner project at the Admiral Pointe Pool.
Main Pool Update:
The earliest that Contractor can be onsite repairing the crack is May 7th.
Memorial Day weekend is May 28th and the Pool repair Contractor cannot guarantee to be finished prior to Memorial Day weekend due to weather etc. After much consideration our CDD Engineers believe that it would be best to postpone the pool crack repair until after school reopens.
Our CDD Engineers now would like to *start the pool crack repair on Monday August 9th with an expected completion of Wednesday September 1st. Also, staff spoke with the Contractor and they indicated that if the Main Pool began leaking water they would reapply epoxy to prevent water loss until the start of the repair at no additional cost to the Harbor Bay CDD.
* This was officially presented at the April 16th , 2021 meeting for the Board to consider, as I suspected no Vote was necessary, this timeline is now confirmed by our Staff as the best way forward for the best interests of our Residents moving forward.
