Zone of Potential Navigational Conflict

Yesterday we put out the navigational study whereas an independent Engineering firm summaries concluded that a hazard will exist for the boaters especially getting in and off of the lifts, as well as, dredging issues with the rip-rap so close to the lifts where the toe of the rip-rap is located at the increased downward slope of the canal.  Today we add this drawing provided by Langan.  This drawing is from the Presentation given by Langan on 14 DEC 2015 to the CDD Board.

This is on page 27 & 28 of the following link. (notice the comments on these pages)  If they know this why would they pursue this solution knowing that it will cost us more money in the long run to correct a self inflicted problem? We do not want to see Mira Bay open up their wallets for future problems that should be fixed correctly the first time.
