Seawall Contract is Signed

Just received word from the CDD lawyer that the Seawall contract has been signed.

This issue has been hanging over Mira Bay for some time, we finally have resolution and now we can get underway with this project and start the healing within the community.  The price remained the same at $245 per foot saving us millions (between $17m to $25 m) for the entire community.

Congratulations to my fellow Supervisors, District Engineers; Cardno, District Counsel, Rizzetta and Dock Solution’s for all the hard work we all put in to finally  cross the finish line.

We now start a New Chapter in Mira Bay with the construction of our new seawalls.
