Cardno Sept 13th Seawall Inspection Report/Recommendations
Cardno, CDD district Engineer just supplied the CDD with their report for the site visit that was conducted on September 13, 2017. The survey was requested to observe issues related to seawall movements. Properties observed were located at 5713 Tortoise Place, 536 Islebay Drive, 5705, Sea Turtle Place, 5614, 5616, & 5624 Skimmer Drive, and 5606 Seagrass Place.
Pretty much what I expected since they had conveyed this to me while we conducted the survey together. They went a bit further and recommended immediate action on a couple more lots than I thought they would. The engineer is currently coordinating with contractors to obtain proposals for work on any area that was identified as needing an emergency repair, and he will be in contact as soon as those proposals are collected.
