Disappointment is the first word that comes to mind,
I can’t tell you much right now for legal reasons, but felt necessary to let you all know ALL of us on your CDD board are working hard on this
Please keep in mind that there are government regulations still in play, we have to let the clock run out first (Aug 21) before any of us can comment or move on.
Nobody at that CDD table failed in this endeavor, a plethora of issues popped up. Your CDD staff worked through all of them, it was not material, not labor, not engineering, nor any legality– all the things one would expect, however what was out of our control; we could not make happen.
I am sure we will all answer your questions and we will all have our take (including the residents) but it won’t change the outcome, pointing a finger in any direction really won’t find an answer to why either.
I believe we are all just as dumbfounded about this latest development, as I am sure you (the residents are), and we KNOW what we went through on a daily basis…. I can assure you this: all of us a geared up to get to work on the 21st.
Please don’t think we don’t have a plan…..The meeting was continued for a reason…..
