RE: Seawall Update
The following is an update of the major seawall related tasks that Cardno is currently working or have
worked on recently.
 Performed onsite assessment of seawall and upland issues covering every property
residence throughout the entire community.
 Performed onsite inspections to assess individual lots with specific concerns.
 Performed onsite inspections for upland repair claims.
 Coordinated and prepared inspection memos regarding upland repair claims.
 Coordinated contractor work agreement for weep hole installation at emergency lots.
Delays regarding appropriate contract language have been worked through and a signed
work agreement is anticipated soon.
 Coordinated contractor work agreement to stabilizing restrictor wall adjacent to Sea
Trout Place.  Final signed agreement is anticipated soon.
 Coordinated emergency seawall repair at four lots with contractors to install new sheet
piles and concrete cap.  Currently soliciting bid prices for the work.
 Conducted Master Seawall Project Design‐Build pre‐proposal meeting for prospective
contractors.  Design‐Build RFP for Master Seawall Project proposals is due January 12,
2018.
